The United States has called on Thailand and Cambodia to swiftly act on the release of 18 soldiers, following the signing of an enhanced ceasefire agreement witnessed by U.S. President Donald Trump. This development was confirmed by a senior State Department official.
In light of the upcoming meeting between President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping slated for Thursday during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in South Korea, the official stressed that America's stance on Taiwan remains consistent.
Additionally, the U.S. maintains its policy toward North Korea, emphasizing the goal of denuclearization, reinforcing a steadfast approach in the region's geopolitical landscape.
