CM Rekha Gupta Boosts Water Supply for BSF Camp in Delhi

In a significant move, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta launched a water pipeline project on Friday at the BSF camp in Chhawla, West Delhi, adhering to a promise she made during a prior visit. The project aims to connect the camp to the Dwarka water treatment plant, significantly enhancing water supply for the camp and surrounding villages.
Set up in 1982, the 25th Battalion of the Border Security Force has long awaited piped water access. Fulfilling her promise, Gupta's initiative marks a notable development in the camp's infrastructure, underscoring her administration's commitment to improving facilities for India's paramilitary forces.
Additionally, Gupta celebrated the festival of 'Bhai Dooj' with BSF personnel, recognizing their crucial role as the nation's defenders. She assured officers of further upgrades, including the construction of a synthetic track on the camp premises, as requested by BSF officials, illustrating her responsive governance.
