Customs Seize Hydroponic Weed Worth Rs 20 Crore at Mumbai Airport
Customs officials at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport seized hydroponic weed worth Rs 20 crore. Three passengers, arriving from Bangkok and Hong Kong, were arrested with a total of 19.786 kilograms of the narcotic concealed in their luggage. Hydroponic weed is a potent marijuana variant grown in nutrient-rich solutions.

In a significant bust, Customs authorities seized hydroponic weed worth nearly Rs 20 crore at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, arresting three passengers in the process.
On Monday, a Bangkok arrival was caught with 11.922 kilograms valued at Rs 11.92 crore, officials reported. The arrest marked the start of a series of significant drug interceptions.
The following day, Customs intercepted two more passengers from Hong Kong. Their baggage contained 7.864 kilograms of hydroponic marijuana, valued at Rs 7.86 crore, concealed ingeniously in their trolley bags. Hydroponic weed is a costly and robust form of cannabis, cultivated using water-based nutrient-rich solutions.
