A grand event held at the Mukesh Patel Auditorium celebrated this effort, with Zone 9 and 10 police returning valuables worth Rs 6.45 crore. Smiles adorned the faces of the recipients, who saw this as a unique Diwali gift from law enforcement.
Similar initiatives across other city zones ensured that hundreds of stolen phones, jewellery, and assets found their way back to their owners. The campaign signifies an effort to foster goodwill and trust between the police force and the community.
