Kashmir's top security officials are ramping up efforts to fortify the region's security framework. During a decisive meeting on Tuesday, V K Birdi, the Inspector General of Police for the Kashmir Zone, emphasized proactive strategies.
The meeting, held at the Police Control Room in Kashmir, brought together senior officers from the Jammu and Kashmir Police, central armed forces, Army, and Intelligence agencies. Discussions centered around current security challenges and the necessity for heightened vigilance.
Key directives included intensifying patrolling, enhancing night checks, and ensuring seamless intelligence sharing. The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to boost vigilance and strengthen inter-agency coordination to uphold peace across the Valley.
