China coast guard says Philippine aircraft 'intruded' in Scarborough Shoal airspace
China's coast guard on Thursday said two Philippine reconnaissance aircraft "illegally intruded" into the airspace of Scarborough Shoal, it said in a statement. The coast guard monitored and drove away the Philippine aircraft, it said, adding that China's territorial sovereignty and maritime interests would be "resolutely defended." "We warn the Philippine side to immediately stop its infringement, provocation, and hypes," the statement showed.
