During his U.S. visit, RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale emphasized the common ancestry of Indian Muslims and Hindus, asserting that 99.9% of Muslims in India are descendants of Indian-origin Hindus. Despite changes in religious practices, their nationality and civilizational roots remain unchanged, he noted, underlining the need for dialogue to bridge any misconceptions.

In an exclusive interview with ANI, Hosabale highlighted the need to address tensions fueled by political interests. He stressed the importance of continued discussions between the RSS and Muslim leadership to eradicate misunderstandings. Hosabale also discussed the internal security challenges posed by illegal infiltration from the eastern border and demographic shifts, underscoring the RSS's role in community cohesion.

Hosabale's U.S. trip included engagements with American academic and policy circles, aiming to improve understanding of India's sociocultural dynamics. He participated in conferences at Stanford University and the Hudson Institute to discuss the RSS's contributions in nation-building and community service, hoping to correct perceptions through direct communication.
