In Eastern Nepal, a helicopter operated by Air Dynasty crashed during landing in the Khotang District, resulting in one injury. The helicopter was transporting a dead body from Kathmandu when it went down in a field, officials confirmed.

'The helicopter crashed while making a landing in the farmland. It carried a deceased body from Kathmandu. No fatalities have been recorded yet, and further details are awaited,' said Rekha Kandel, Chief District Officer of Khotang District, to ANI via phone. The helicopter was carrying five passengers at the time of the incident and crashed at around 11:51 AM.

The helicopter company reported that only one passenger sustained injuries while the pilot, identified as Sabin Thapa, and other passengers were unharmed. An additional helicopter, registered as 9N-ANA, has been dispatched to aid the injured individual. Preliminary investigations suggest that the crash may have been caused by high winds or dust during the landing maneuver.
