External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar engaged in a diplomatic marathon on Monday, meeting his Malaysian counterpart, Mohamad Haji Hasan, to discuss bilateral cooperation and regional developments. Discussions included progress in bilateral ties and perspectives on the Myanmar situation. Earlier, Jaishankar also met with New Zealand's Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, underscoring India's diplomatic outreach.

Jaishankar's engagement with New Zealand emphasized a shared commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific. His meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio further broadened discussions to include bilateral relations, global challenges, and the ongoing trade talks between India and the United States.
