Chaos Erupts at Hospital as Patient Attacks Staff

A dramatic scene unfolded on Thursday at a civil hospital when a patient became agitated over treatment delays, allegedly grabbing a female doctor's arm and engaging in a scuffle with a security guard, according to police sources.

The chaos ensued for approximately 20 minutes, during which the patient threw a cleaning chemical on the floor, inadvertently causing it to splash onto the security guard's face and eyes. Eyewitnesses reported the guard writhing in pain, while a bystander also sustained minor injuries from the spill.

The hospital's administration promptly called the police, who detained the man for questioning. Staff members claimed that the patient had become irate while waiting for a medico-legal case (MLC) report. Following the turmoil, hospital employees demanded enhanced security measures in the emergency ward to prevent similar incidents.
