Rebuilding Hope: New Beginnings at B J Medical College

The state government of Gujarat has announced a significant reconstruction initiative for B J Medical College's hostel complex, which was destroyed in a tragic air crash nine months ago.
The disaster, involving Air India flight AI-171, resulted in damage so extensive that the original building, located in Meghaninagar, is deemed irreparable.
Officials revealed that the new, expanded hostel is set to cost Rs 103 crore, with contributions coming from the Tata Group and state funds. Construction is expected to commence shortly.
