In a concerning development, Chhainsa village in Haryana's Palwal district has been thrust into the spotlight following the deaths of seven residents from liver-related ailments. Officials confirmed that four of these fatalities were attributed to Hepatitis B, sparking an urgent health response from local authorities.

The village, with a population of nearly 5,700, has seen measures like blood sampling and stringent water quality checks introduced. While official reports list seven deaths, villagers claim the true number may be higher, raising alarm over potential underreporting.
