Narayana Health, headquartered in Bengaluru, has expanded its global footprint by acquiring the UK-based Practice Plus Group Hospitals, marking a strategic entry into the British healthcare market.
The acquisition places Narayana among the top three healthcare providers in India by revenue, while also providing access to Practice Plus's network of 12 hospitals and surgical centers that specialize in orthopaedics, ophthalmology, and general surgery.
The founder of Narayana Health, Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty, hailed the acquisition as an exciting milestone, emphasizing how both companies aim to offer more accessible private healthcare solutions to those caught between public and costly private options.
