Zydus Lifesciences' Sharvil Patel Steps Up as IPA President
Sharvil Patel, Managing Director of Zydus Lifesciences, has assumed the role of president at the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance. Zydus Lifesciences Managing Director Sharvil Patel has been appointed as the new president of the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance (IPA), taking over from former president and Torrent Group Chairman Samir Mehta.
The IPA has also announced Glenn Saldanha, Chairman and Managing Director of Glenmark, as its new vice president.
This leadership change happens at a crucial time for the Indian pharmaceutical sector, poised to strengthen patient care, embrace innovative solutions, and enforce stringent quality standards, according to IPA Secretary General Sudarshan Jain.
