During South Korean President Lee Jae Myung's visit to Hanoi, dozens of business deals are set to be inked between South Korean and Vietnamese firms. Both Korean media outlets and insiders have confirmed these forthcoming interactions.
The visit follows the earlier signing of 12 cooperation pacts, with investments ranging from finance to infrastructure, and advanced technology on the agenda. A highlight is the supply agreement for Ho Chi Minh City's urban rail system.
Alongside Lee are representatives from over 100 Korean companies, hinting at strengthened economic ties. Notable corporations like Samsung, LG, and SK are part of this entourage, with potential for significant investments in Vietnam's semiconductor and infrastructure sectors.
