On Wednesday, Slovak Economy Minister Denisa Sakova confirmed that crude oil supplies through the Druzhba pipeline from Ukraine to Slovakia are scheduled to resume on Thursday morning.

The minister shared via Facebook that the Ukrainian authorities have started repressurizing the pipeline. This infrastructure has been out of service since January, a result of what Ukraine claims was a Russian assault.

The repressurization activities are happening with the involvement of Belarus, marking a key step towards restoring oil flow through this vital channel.
