Speaking at the World Hydrogen Energy Summit, Singh highlighted that India aims to create a robust, self-reliant ecosystem by enhancing research funding and fostering innovation-led growth.
The minister also shared that India intends to invest significantly in oil and gas, exploring vast areas while increasing the natural gas share to 15%. Emphasizing the role of green hydrogen in decarbonizing industries, Singh mentioned the nation is striving for 100 GW of nuclear power by 2047.
