Tragic School Bus Collision in Bhogaon: 1 Dead, 6 Injured

A devastating accident occurred in Bhogaon town as a school bus plowed into a street food cart, tragically resulting in the death of one individual and injuries to six others, police reported on Wednesday.

Deputy SP Ram Krishna Dwivedi detailed that the crash happened near the CO's office in Gihar Colony when a bus from R.S. Educational Academy lost control, completely destroying a golgappa cart and its accompanying tin shed.

The forceful impact displaced several bystanders, with one young man trapped underneath the vehicle. The bus continued its path of destruction, eventually stopping after colliding with another tin shed near the Ramlila grounds. The driver fled the scene immediately after the incident.

Police swiftly arrived at the location, and emergency services transferred the injured to the Community Health Centre in Bhogaon, while critically injured individuals were sent to the District Hospital.

Among the victims, Gaurav, son of Santosh from Gihar Colony, succumbed to his injuries during treatment, authorities confirmed. A thorough investigation to determine the cause of this tragic incident is currently underway.
