Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) announced on Tuesday the operational launch of a groundbreaking 1,000 MW transmission link, a high-voltage direct current (HVDC) connection, spanning Kudus to Aarey.

The initiative by AESL’s arm, Adani Electricity Mumbai Infrastructure Ltd (AEMIL), includes a 30-kilometer overhead and 50-kilometer underground corridor, prioritizing urban environmental constraints.

This infrastructure provides robust benefits, enabling Mumbai's grid to integrate more external electricity sources and renewable energy, thereby decreasing internal generation reliance and enhancing grid stability, resilience, and security.
