He highlighted that global oil and gas supplies are severely impacted, with a significant portion stranded in the Gulf region.
Fatih Birol, the chief of the International Energy Agency, has issued a stark warning about a potential energy crisis of historic proportions.
In an interview with the Financial Times, Birol explained that it may take up to six months to restore oil and gas flows from the Gulf, fueling concerns about a prolonged energy shortage.
According to Birol, around one-fifth of global oil and gas supplies are currently stranded in the Gulf region, further exacerbating global market instability.
