NTPC Renewable Energy Sparks New Era with 165 MW Solar Boost
NTPC's subsidiary, NTPC Renewable Energy, has commenced commercial supply of 165 MW electricity from its Khavda-II solar project in Gujarat. This marks a significant milestone, raising NTPC's total installed capacity to 88,709 MW. The new capacity addition boosts NTPC Green Energy's total capacity to 9,727.68 MW.

State-owned NTPC's subsidiary, NTPC Renewable Energy, has started generating commercial power from a 165 MW portion of its ambitious 1200 MW Khavda-II solar project in Gujarat.
This milestone elevates the NTPC group's overall installed capacity to a staggering 88,709 MW, with a commercial capacity reaching 87,629 MW, according to official filings.
Additionally, NTPC Green Energy (NGEL) reports a current commercial capacity of 9,562.68 MW, further increasing its standing to 9,727.68 MW with this latest advancement.
