In a significant crackdown on black marketing of essential petroleum products, including LPG, authorities in Uttar Pradesh have targeted malpractices among local distributors.
A statement revealed that FIRs have been registered against 12 LPG distributors and 74 additional cases have been lodged amid an ongoing enforcement drive.
This operation, marked by over 5,800 inspections, also resulted in the arrest of 11 individuals. The supply chain for LPG and other petroleum products remains stable, backed by a 24x7 control room that addresses consumer grievances in real time.
