India's LPG carrier 'Nanda Devi' has successfully docked at Vadinar port, delivering 46,500 metric tonnes of LPG despite the turmoil in the West Asia region, authorities confirmed. This achievement highlights India's strategic logistics maneuvers during heightened regional tensions.

The ship commenced transfer to its daughter vessel, BW Birch, carrying the cargo to Ennore and Haldia for further distribution. Operated at a rate of 1,000 tonnes per hour, the transfer is anticipated to conclude within two days. Rigorous safety and procedural checks are ensuring smooth execution, as directed by the Ministry of Ports.

Despite disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz, diplomatic efforts facilitated the vessel's safe journey. India, which relies heavily on imports for its energy supply, is navigating complex international relations to maintain its energy stability amidst ongoing geopolitical challenges.
