In a fiery press conference held in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal, the former Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor, has launched a fierce critique against the central government. He accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of contributing to a looming LPG crisis by aligning India's foreign policy with the US and Israel amidst the West Asia conflict.

Kejriwal highlighted that the ongoing geopolitical tensions have drastically reduced India's gas imports from the Iran-controlled Strait of Hormuz. 'India is in crisis,' he asserted, noting decreased LPG availability due to Iran's refusal to allow passage for non-aligned nations. He further lambasted Modi for disrupting the nation's long-standing non-alignment stance.

The AAP leader called for Modi's resignation, suggesting undue influence from the US. He cited increased LPG prices and supply challenges impacting restaurants and industries, elaborating on the resultant economic strain. Meanwhile, the government invoked measures to mitigate domestic LPG shortages, though commercial sectors face significant restrictions.
