Suzlon Group, a leading player in renewable energy, has made a strategic appointment to bolster its European presence. On Monday, it announced Paulo Fernando Soares as the new President of Suzlon Europe. His mandate includes accelerating growth and enhancing the company’s market footprint across the region.
Soares, who joins from Sany Renewables in Europe where he served as Managing Director, brings four decades of industry expertise to his new role. His focus will be on developing regional capabilities, forging strategic partnerships, and improving customer engagement under the Suzlon 2.0 strategy.
With over 21 GW of wind energy capacity installed globally, Suzlon sees Europe as a strategic market. Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman of Suzlon, highlighted Soares' deep knowledge and global experience as vital assets for Suzlon's continued international expansion.
