The Defence Minister remarked on the admirable upgrade in army tactics, underscoring the courage required to deter enemy misadventures.

Also discussed was India's shift towards defense self-reliance, with significant growth in domestic production and exports. January 15 marks Army Day, celebrating the historic appointment of General KM Cariappa as Independent India's first Commander-in-Chief in 1949.
