This operation saw the elimination of over 100 terrorists, reflecting the military's strategic adaptability and valor.
Rajnath Singh praised the stoic determination of troops who brave extreme climates to protect national borders. He acknowledged the evolving nature of global threats, stressing the need for vigilance and strategic innovation. The Defence Minister remarked on the admirable upgrade in army tactics, underscoring the courage required to deter enemy misadventures.
Also discussed was India's shift towards defense self-reliance, with significant growth in domestic production and exports. January 15 marks Army Day, celebrating the historic appointment of General KM Cariappa as Independent India's first Commander-in-Chief in 1949.
