Rajasthan's Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma is poised to announce compensation for victims of the Matoda road accident, which claimed 15 lives. Education Minister Madan Dilawar expressed profound sorrow regarding the incident, characterizing it as both painful and regrettable. He assured ongoing governmental support for the affected individuals.

The Chief Minister has urged district officials to prioritize medical treatment for those injured, underscoring the importance of swift recovery. Extending condolences to the bereaved families, Sharma emphasized the need for comprehensive care during this dire time.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered his condolences and announced financial assistance from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund. An ex-gratia payment of Rs 2 lakh will be provided to the next of kin of the deceased, while the injured are set to receive Rs 50,000 each for their medical needs.
