Telangana Tragedy: Government Promises Aid Amidst Rangareddy Road Accident Horror
A tragic road accident in Rangareddy district, Telangana resulted in 19 deaths and several injuries. The government and RTC have announced financial aid for victims, with Prime Minister Modi also extending support. An inquiry has been ordered into the mishap between a TGSRTC bus and a truck.

In a devastating road accident in Telangana's Rangareddy district, at least 19 people lost their lives, and 14 to 15 others were injured when a TGSRTC bus collided with a truck near Mirjaguda. The accident has prompted both the state government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to announce financial aid for the victims' families.
Telangana Minister Ponnam Prabhakar stated that the government will provide an ex-gratia of Rs. 5 lakh to the families of the deceased, while the RTC will contribute an additional Rs. 2 lakh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also announced Rs. 2 lakh from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund for each deceased's next of kin, along with Rs. 50,000 for the injured.
According to officials, the collision occurred near Khanapur Gate under the Chevella police station limits early Monday morning. Initial reports suggest a tipper truck collided head-on with the bus by approaching from the wrong direction. An inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of the accident further.
