In a relentless overnight assault, Russia targeted the northeastern Ukrainian city of Sumy, causing injuries to 11 residents, including four children, according to Ukraine's emergency services. The aggression, involving drone and missile attacks, struck residential buildings, infrastructure, and the railway depot, escalating tension in the region bordering Russia.
Ukraine's emergency services reported the attacks via Telegram messenger, highlighting damage to a residential multi-storey building, private homes, and critical infrastructure. This marks yet another episode of Russian aggression that has persistently besieged the Sumy region.
