The European Commission has declared that the export bans imposed by Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia on Ukrainian food products are no longer justified. This announcement follows the implementation of an updated EU-Ukraine free trade agreement.
A spokesperson for the Commission expressed the intention to engage in dialogue with the three countries. The goal is to persuade them to lift the bans before considering any further actions.
The revised trade agreement came into effect on Thursday, paving the way for increased trade collaboration between the EU and Ukraine.
