Furthermore, she emphasized reforms like the automatic registration under the Simplified GST Registration Scheme slated for November 2025.

Pointing to recent GST rate cuts, she explained the significant impact on economic growth, citing a rise in consumer spending post-rationalization. Sitharaman called for well-staffed GST Seva Kendras to provide timely support to taxpayers, reinforcing the need for thoughtful and effective tax administration.
