The Election Commission of India (ECI) has taken significant steps to ensure a smooth and transparent voting process for the upcoming Jubilee Hills by-election, scheduled for November 11. The ECI has appointed three observers to oversee the electoral proceedings and to ensure the election is conducted without any discrepancies.

The appointed observers are IAS Ranjit Kumar Singh, serving as the General Observer, Om Prakash Tripathy as the Police Observer, and IRS Sanjiv Kumar Lal as the Expenditure Observer. Their roles will include monitoring various crucial aspects of the election process, ranging from ensuring model code of conduct compliance to scrutinizing law and order and election expenditure.

In the political arena, the Congress party has fielded V Naveen Yadav, with the support of AIMIM, while the BRS has nominated Sunitha, the widow of Gopinath, and BJP has put forward Lanka Deepak Reddy. AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi announced the party's decision to support the Congress candidate, emphasizing the Congress's potential for Jubilee Hills' development.
