Celebrating Bihar's Global Influence: Diaspora Honoured at Bihar Diwas 2026

At the Bihar Diwas 2026 celebration in New York, four distinguished members of the Bihari diaspora were recognized for their exceptional achievements and contributions. Hosted by the Consulate General of India in partnership with the Bihar Foundation of USA ETZ and the Bihar Jharkhand Association of North America, the event celebrated the significant global impact of individuals from the state.

The honorees, including Saroj Kumar Jha from the World Bank and Rajesh Sinha of Fulcrum Digital, were awarded the Bihar Vishwa Gaurav Samman 2026. The ceremony emphasized Bihar's evolving presence on the world stage, reflecting on its historical roots and the promise of future growth and transformation.
