Glasgow Mugafians Shine in Europe's Inaugural T20 League

The Glasgow Mugafians have been announced as a competing team in the European T20 Premier League, set to take place from August 26 to September 20 across six cities. This Scottish franchise is supported by the Mugafi Group and co-owned by cricket great Chris Gayle and Tansha Batra.

This league marks Europe's first ICC-sanctioned T20 franchise competition and boasts six participating teams representing major cities such as Glasgow, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Dublin, Belfast, and Rotterdam. The tournament will feature a total of 33 matches.

The Mugafi Group, an influential media and entertainment platform, will provide commercial and digital support to elevate the Glasgow Mugafians' global presence. The league is a joint venture by Cricket Ireland and Rules Global, with Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan as a co-founder.
