Radhe Gurjar, a social media influencer, was apprehended on Saturday for allegedly posting a reel containing offensive language along with a Russian woman at the historic Gwalior Fort, according to a police statement.
The video, reportedly shot two days prior during a visit by foreign tourists, depicted Gurjar persuading a Russian tourist to record with him. Unbeknownst to the tourist who wasn't fluent in Hindi, Gurjar employed abusive language, tarnishing the scenic location's image.
After the video went public, authorities initiated a case under the Information Technology Act. Although Gurjar later attempted to delete the video and issued an apology, law enforcement stated the investigation remains ongoing.
