Golden Moments in Ayodhya: President Murmu Celebrates Ram Temple Milestones

In a historic visit to Ayodhya, President Droupadi Murmu celebrated key moments in the construction of the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, describing them as 'golden moments' in India's history. The president participated in religious ceremonies and installed the 150-kg gold-plated 'Shri Ram Yantra' at the temple.

Addressing a gathering, Murmu began with a chant of 'Jai Sri Ram' and spoke of Ayodhya's spiritual significance. She emphasized that Ayodhya holds a special place in the hearts of devotees, mentioning that Lord Ram deemed the city 'dearer than heaven' when speaking to Sita in the Ramcharitmanas.

Highlighting Ayodhya's cultural and constitutional significance, President Murmu noted that artistic depictions of Lord Ram's arrival in Ayodhya are featured in the Indian Constitution. She expressed joy over the awareness and connection these symbols bring, extending festive greetings for Ram Navami and the New Year to Indians worldwide.
