On Tuesday, the Tibetan community and supporters convened near the Chinese Embassy in Delhi, vocalizing their demands on the 67th Tibetan National Uprising Day. Organized by the Tibetan Youth Congress, one of the largest Tibetan exile groups, the protest sought to spotlight the issues facing Tibet.

Demonstrators, armed with placards, chanted slogans asking for justice, freedom, and the preservation of Tibetan cultural rights. According to a senior officer, Delhi Police detained 24 protesters to maintain public order, relocating them to various police stations from the protest site.

Protesters expressed opposition to the Chinese Communist Party and their policy of relocating Tibetans. The demonstration also aimed to remember the 1959 Tibetan uprising and to galvanize international support for ongoing struggles within and outside of Tibet.
