On Tuesday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi made a noteworthy appearance at the wedding ceremony of a farmer's daughter in Haryana's Sonipat district. The visit carried particular significance, given Gandhi's initial meeting with the farmer, Sanjay, during an unexpected stop at Madina village in 2023.

During that visit, Gandhi joined Sanjay in the fields, where he listened to and witnessed firsthand the struggles faced by farming families.
