President Murmu to Attend 9th International Santal Conference in Darjeeling
President Droupadi Murmu will visit West Bengal to attend the ninth International Santal Conference in Darjeeling. Initially scheduled for two days, her visit was revised following the resignation of West Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose. Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi appointed as new governor.

President Droupadi Murmu is set to visit West Bengal this Saturday for the ninth International Santal Conference in Darjeeling district, according to an official statement.
The initial plan was for a two-day visit beginning Friday, but it was adjusted due to the resignation of West Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose on Thursday.
The conference, organized by the International Santal Council, will take place near Bidhannagar in Siliguri. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi has been named as Bose's successor, although he has yet to assume office.
