Adityanath described Pant as a 'great son of Bharat Mata', acknowledging his role as a freedom fighter, eminent jurist, and capable administrator. Pant's efforts, inspired by Mahatma Gandhi, contributed significantly to India's freedom movement. Serving as the Premier of the United Provinces and later as the first chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Pant's leadership was pivotal.

Pant's advocacy for Hindi as the official language and his recognition with the Bharat Ratna in 1957 underscore his lasting impact. Adityanath emphasized that Pant's life and ideals continue to inspire future generations, underlining his enduring legacy in Uttar Pradesh's progress.
