Actor Taapsee Pannu has expressed her concerns over the declining support for women-led and unconventional films, warning they are at risk of becoming 'extinct.' Pannu, known for her roles in hard-hitting dramas like 'Thappad' and 'Pink,' emphasized the need for audience support in theaters.

In a candid interview, the actor noted the increasing difficulty in bringing unique narratives to the big screen, as both mainstream cinema and streaming platforms cater to mass audiences. Pannu also highlighted her forthcoming film 'Assi,' directed by Anubhav Sinha, set to spotlight cases of sexual violence against women.
