RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat asserted India's unique position as a global center of goodwill and social harmony during an event in Taramandal on Sunday. Addressing the 'Samajik Sadbhav' meeting, Bhagwat highlighted India's civilisational ethos, which emphasizes oneness and mutual belonging over transactional relationships.
Speaking at the centennial event at the Baba Gambhirnath Auditorium, Bhagwat noted that despite customary, attire, and traditional differences, India's cultural unity prevails. He stated, 'In many countries, relationships are seen as transactions. In our country, human relationships are based on a sense of belonging.'
Reflecting on the RSS's 100-year journey, Bhagwat described the milestone as a time for introspection rather than celebration. He encouraged block-level meetings to strengthen social cohesion and urged society's self-responsibility while promoting unity beyond caste lines.
