Rajasthan's temples were alive with the sounds of 'Om Namah Shivay' and 'Har Har Mahadev' on Sunday, as the state celebrated Mahashivratri with great enthusiasm. Devotees formed long lines for Jalabhishek rituals at Shiva temples in key cities, including Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Udaipur, which donned vibrant lights and decorations.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma carried out the rituals at the Maa Rajrajeshwari Temple at his residence, expressing hopes for happiness and prosperity in the lives of the state's people. Sharma shared his well-wishes on X, hoping for the continued grace of Lord Bholenath upon everyone.

Governor Haribhau Bagde, along with former chief minister Ashok Gehlot, extended greetings and highlighted the cultural and spiritual importance of Mahashivratri, commemorating it as a unique blend of traditional faith and cultural celebration across the state.
