The Ekamra Kshetra Amenities and Monument Revival Action project at Bhubaneswar's Lingaraj Temple is progressing towards a 2027 completion deadline, as confirmed by Works Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan.
Key developments include a grand statue of Lord Shiva, an interpretation center, and the transformation of Bindu Sagar into a heritage lake. The previous agency managing the project is being replaced.
A revamped plan, incorporating an expanded scope of work and increased budget, aims to ensure timely completion by the end of the 2026-27 fiscal year.
