Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin and AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami commemorated the 57th death anniversary of former Chief Minister C N Annadurai, known as 'Perarignar Anna'.
Stalin led a peace march to Annadurai's memorial at Marina Beach, lauding his significant contributions and stating that Anna's influence is a lasting presence in Tamil Nadu. Acknowledging the ongoing cultural and political struggles, he asserted that only the values of Anna could counter such pressures.
Palaniswami, paying respects in a black shirt, declared AIADMK's duty to uphold Anna's principles, asserting the party's commitment to restore governance that honors Anna's legacy. Leaders honored Annadurai with tributes and traditional feasts across the state.
