Celebrating National Unity Day: Honoring Sardar Patel's Vision

In a tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai underscored the late leader's significant role in uniting the princely states, framing an integrated India. Speaking on National Unity Day, observed on Patel's birth anniversary, Sai lauded Patel's vision and unwavering resolve in shaping the nation.

Gathering at Patel's statue in Devendra Nagar, Sai joined the 'Run for Unity' event, reflecting the ethos of 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.' The event, spanning from Shastri Chowk to Sharda Chowk, saw participation from various segments of society—school children, public representatives, and citizens—all running for solidarity.

The chief minister's address highlighted the spirit of unity that transcends India's diverse landscape, aligned with Prime Minister Modi's vision. Union Minister Jual Oram and State Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap also graced the occasion, echoing the call for national integrity and solidarity.
