Dev Deepawali: Varanasi's Mini India in Lights

Varanasi is set to light up in celebration of the Dev Deepawali festival, showcasing the nation's cultural diversity. Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh announced that this event reflects India's 'Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat' initiative.

The ghats of Kashi will be adorned with countless lamps, presenting a tableaux of India's varied cultural heritage. This year's festival promises to be a spectacle for tourists both domestic and international.

Localities such as the Marathi and Nepalese neighborhoods near the Panchganga Ghat and Gauri Kedar Ghat will spotlight their traditions, while the Gujarati and Maithil communities prepare their own decorations, contributing to Kashi's image as a 'mini India'.
