The popular Netflix sci-fi series 'Stranger Things' will not feature fan-favorite character Eddie Munson in its final season. Creators Matt and Ross Duffer confirmed that actor Joseph Quinn, who portrays Eddie, won't reprise his role in Season 5, per reports.

In an interview with a British film magazine, the Duffer Brothers addressed ongoing speculation about Eddie's return. They stated that Joe Quinn's busy schedule, filled with numerous projects, makes a comeback impossible. 'Joe is so busy, everyone should understand he's not coming back,' Matt Duffer remarked.

Despite Eddie's absence, audiences can anticipate the return of key characters and the introduction of Linda Hamilton as Dr. Kay, a new government agent. The much-anticipated season will roll out in three parts around holiday weekends.
