Nepali Hero's Final Journey: Bipin Joshi's Sacrifice Honored

The body of Bipin Joshi, a 23-year-old Nepali student who heroically saved lives during the Hamas attack in Israel, has returned to Kathmandu for his final rites. Captured by Hamas in Kibbutz Alumim on October 7, 2023, Bipin was later tragically confirmed murdered in captivity, honoring his courageous sacrifice.
Nepal's Prime Minister, Sushila Karki, paid tribute at the Tribhuvan International Airport, wrapping Bipin's body in the national flag. She lauded his bravery, expressing deep condolences to his family while acknowledging the relentless efforts made by his mother and sister amid a harrowing two-year ordeal.
Bipin's body was later transported to Kanchanpur for traditional rites. The Nepali population mourns his loss while celebrating the legacy of a national hero who, despite his untimely death, has become a symbol of courage and patriotism.
