KITE, Kerala's technical arm for education, has initiated 'Sarvam AI Mayam', a groundbreaking artificial intelligence literacy drive focused on adults. Official sources describe this as the country's most extensive AI awareness project.
The initiative, running till June 30, 2026, plans to train 6 lakh parents through 2,200 Little KITEs units across the state. Under student-led guidance, parents will be educated on AI's opportunities and risks.
Besides practical applications such as AI-powered tools for daily tasks, the sessions also highlight safeguarding against digital scams and misinformation, with a focus on building a digitally savvy population.
